Heavy dark clouds, wind, sideways rain, sleet, hail and snow. Then suddenly the clouds break and make way for a
huge burst of sunshine, and everything around us lights up in yellow and blue.
I gaze and gaze, but my brain can't take it in and my heart overflows trying to absorb all the beauty.
Every day, even if the weather doesn't look promising, we go out and always something wonderful happens:
Flocks of seagulls shining white against the blue sea and sky.
Thick snowfall turns the land into delicate pencil sketches.
Ethereal moments when it snows in the sunshine and you watch the shimmering snowflakes float to the ground.
My photographs cannot do justice to any of these moments. But if you like them, just pack your bags, head off to
Lofoten and experience it all for yourself.
